They Came to Build a Dam and Stayed to Build a Dream...

Founded in 1939 as Hell's Gulch Days, during the past 66 years,  the Shasta Damboree has evolved from a single fund-raising event to a community  based organization that provides celebrations and fun for the entire community while promoting and preserving the Shasta Dam area's rich history and unique past.

The Shasta Damboree Inc's main event continues to be the annual Shasta Damboree, which includes three days of family fun.

For the past 16 years, the Damboree has hosted the Annual Community Awards Banquet, which honors our Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Parade Marshall, Educator, Officer, Employee and Youth of the Year.

The Community Children's Christmas Party has been a favorite event for our committee members for several years. Providing an opportunity for our children to tell Santa their wish list, and provide entertainment for our families.

We always welcome new members to join this fun group and share their love of our community. Meetings are currently Wednesday Mornings at 7:30. Contact us for location.
